NPC companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 will not be able to start novels with each other

Baldur’s Gate 3 will become one of the largest role -playing games of the year, and Larian is preparing for its exit, spreading more and more information. It became known that original NPS characters will not enter into a romantic relationship with each other.

With this number of classes in Baldur’s Gate 3, you can forget that there is a whole system of novels in the BG3. According to Larian representatives, these novels "They can develop into a relationship that gives seriousness to each of your solutions in the game, and you are free to achieve them by thinking, choosing and taking into account the consequences". However, at any time you can abandon them, change your mind or fall in love with someone else".

Polyiamor relations are also not excluded, but what you will not see is the original NPC characters – ready -made characters for which you can play or see how they join you in your adventure – entering into a relationship with each other.

According to representatives of Larian, here are your options:

  • The player can join an affair with the original NPC
  • The original NPC cannot join an affair with the original NPC
  • An original player cannot join an affair with other original players.

Thus, in Baldur’s Gate 3, we will not see flowering relations in the style of Garrus and Tali, which is a little sorry. However, something else was said before: "Original characters can enter into an affair with other original characters if they are not the main characters controlled by the player".

In general, in any case, now the original NPS characters cannot enter into a romantic relationship with each other, according to the updated Laran message.

In early access Baldur’s Gate 3 characters can flirt during adventure or even talk about how bad one of the companions in bed is, but in fact they have no intra -game novels. So don’t worry, they are still having sex, they just don’t tell you about it.
