For three years, the Cyberpunk 2077 world has become more realistic, but there are still flaws in it

The day before yesterday was the update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077. A large patch preceding the addition of Phantom Liberty and significantly rebuilding the main game systems, in a sense is a new page in the work of CD Projekt.

For this reason, videos quickly appeared on the Web, in which the current Cyberpunk is compared with his problematic release version, which came out almost three years ago.

Without a doubt, Cyberpunk 2077 in its current form is a almost different game than the one that we received in December 2020 – of course, in a positive sense.

And the point is not only in a significantly improved reaction of passers -by or the police to the player’s actions, but also in a number of small details, the absence of which does not interfere with plunging into the game. As can be seen from the video, many animations have been added or improved to the game, for example, jumping out of the car while driving or climbing the stairs

The pluses include a change in physics and the appearance of the game, which is not surprising, given the updated system requirements. At the same time, it is worth recognizing that not all CP2077 elements have been improved since the release of the game. As can be seen from the video, the game still has a number of problems, in particular, the artificial intelligence of the NPC leaves much to be desired, or broken shadows during diving.

The game community praised the efforts that CD Projekt put to correct Cyberpunk 2077, while noting that the game still requires many small corrections.

Although the update 2.0 contains phenomenal changes and improvements, it is not perfect. I expect some of these problems will be resolved, but I’m not sure how much more time and effort CDPR wants to invest in this game after Phantom Liberty.

More caustic users joke that the game was supposed to appear only after corrections included in update 2.0.

That is, in fact, at the time of the release before the completion of the development of the game there was three years. Did they really need three more years to complete the game?

Without a doubt, the need for a more complex analysis, which allows "on practice" to analyze the main game components is still great.

In conclusion, it is worth recalling that on September 26, a large expansion release will be released for Cyberpunk 2077 – Phantom Liberty. Expansion, which received many positive reviews in the press, will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
